I concur with the postings re. Hilda Lewis.

As to Thomas Hughes - a Thomas Hughes birth Jun.qtr.1914 Salford, mmn Robinson.  This birth entry would tie in with someone born 9/3/1914.

Whether or not this is the right Thomas is anyone's guess at this point.

Annette7, that's the route I took, trying to find possible siblings, ie Doris, Lilian and Leonard.
