When you delve back farther, I would check for Midcoff, Midcaff, Mitkiff, Midkiff and Midcalf for Joseph m. Baxter, father Joseph plus other variations.  Most in the Lurgan area are Ch of Ireland, but Samuel m. Ann Saunders is Presbyterian and had Elizabeth 1825, 1828.  Anthony in Derrymacash with dau Jane m. Wm Castles 1854 is also Presby. as well as John having son Wm of Ballykelly who married Margaret Hamilton 1845 who later married John Wallace.

Scotlands People. Don't know where they went after 1911. No apparent deaths in Scotland or Ireland. Don't think there were any children. Cannot find them on 1901 census, the year they were married.

It is possible they were already living together in Glasgow, prior to the marriage in Ireland.

Thomas's name is on the 1915 Valuation Roll for a house & a shop in Dumbarton Road, Glasgow. & Sarah for a house in Port St. There is also a John Topley in the same Street.

In 1920, no sign of Thomas, but Sarah is in Cranston St. Nothing after that other than John Topley & His wife.

Ancestry has a Mrs Sarah Topley, Death Date: 15 Feb 1954 Death Place: Northern Ireland
Topley Sarah of Battlehill Portadown county Armagh widow died 15 February 1954 Administration Belfast 4 April to James Topley lorry helper. Effects £124 12s. 10d.

I've not found her Death registration.

Checked GRONI online - there doesn't appear to be a death registration for Sarah Topley in 1954.

On 1911 census in Partick. Thomas & Sarah list that they had one child not stiil alive. Cannot find a birth or death. Possibly stillborn.
