Old adresses

Ive found the death certificate from 1958 of a relative who on the certificate says she died at her daughters house at Number * Brookledge Lane Adlington, Ive searched for the address and it shows as Number * Dangerous Corner on Brookledge, where funnily enough my friend lives. Is there anyway I would be able to find out if that the same property?

Added: The other option is to trace the address through electoral rolls to see when it became Dangerous Corner.
