dating Anton ZEISSER
« on: Monday 11 October 21 04:23 BST (UK) »
Hello,
Would it please be possible to give an approximate date for this photo supposedly of Anton ZEISSER. He was born c1848 in Alsace Lorraine and died 1916 in Sydney, Australia. I don't have the original photo so cannot provide any more details about the  actual photograph.

Thanks in advance.

That's great, thanks Jim!

So it does seem possible this is the correct man, I'm guessing he looks about 30ish.  :D

Maddys52 - keeping it looking it's age covered up some of the blotches and the adjusted the 'colour levels'.
