Hello All,
Can anyone tell me where to find out about people who were
 'Born East Indies - British Subject'
The chap I'm interested in was born about 1776.

I'm looking for Charles Armstrong born about 1776. Couldn't find him on Familysearch.
I'm not on Findmypast. Might consider it in the future.

That could be him, Shaun. I've seen later Census details in St Pancras and Islington that might link up, but would like to find his parents.

His parents were John and Margaret according to that UCL piece (no source cited) and he had a brother William Griffith Armstrong.
