Ok, that's great - using the address on the voter  registration for 1930, and putting it into the stevemorse website, I find Charles and Mary KELLER of the right age and right time in the US, but again wrong place of birth for themselves and their parents, and a surprising occupation for Charles (salesman, meat co.). Also a son Jack who I didn't know existed!

Yes, I see that but not sure...............   Did Mary didn't arrive until 1911. Occupation for Charles not consistent

Well I'm still feeling confused and not sure about the 1930 census which has the couple Charles and Mary KELLER plus a son Jack (born c1910, California) though my Mary didn't arrive until 1911, and she was alone on the voyage. I'm checking this convoluted family to see if he may be a nephew, although his age may be incorrect on the census too.

In the meantime, would it please be possible Sandra, if it's not too much trouble, to see the obit for Mary - she died 13 Jan 1979, I think there's a death notice in the San Francisco Examiner on 23 Jan 1979? Many many thanks.

Also - no children mentioned on either Charles or Mary's obits, so either the 1930 census I have is the incorrect one, or Jack is probably not theirs.
