It looks like Lanespire but I'm not sure that is a surname

Shuan J That is a sixty four dollar question on her Wedding Certificate she says Perth Scotland there is mention somewhere of Fife but on most of the children's Birth Certificates it is Newcastle on Tyne.
Dad said she had a scots accent I have tried using her parents as William Davidson and Margaret  also Margaret Lanesoine  Found a few William Davidsons  but no daughter Annie although that may have only been what the family called her. On the family Bible which was hers it is Annie. She married Richard Wright at Tarnagulla in 1869 saying she was 29 although from the various dates I have it would appear she was 18 and by the time she died her age had gradually gone back to what would have made her 18 in 1869. my Grandfather selected land at Glenluce Victoria and they raised 7 children including a set of twin boys so she was obviously real pioneer and a good mother. But still a mystery - only wish I had talked more to my father about the family but at that age I was nt interested in geanology now I have spent the last 35 years tracking down the family history. Anyhelp always welcome and thanks to all for your patience helping me with posting an image

Did Annie's parents emigrate with her? If so, do their Australian death records have any clues?

And did she have any siblings whose marriage records might include the same surname?

Hi all,

If I am seeing this correctly, Margaret's name was originally entered before William's by mistake and then struck through.
This version is a little larger - although still almost indecipherable - but I can't see a long letter like a "p" or a "g". (The "g" in this Margaret is very long.)

Can anyone else see more than I can?!

Can you confirm you have captured all of the name including any characters which may extend downwards..

The snip looks as if it is taken 'close' at the bottom.

Are you certain that none of the children had a middle name that might help?
