Alexander Tomlinson married Mary Wilson Hogg & had daughter Sarah Archibald 1924.
Believe that Alexander was "Sandy" Tomlinson, shoemaker in Garvagh. Sandy Tomlinson had one leg & was son of Robert Tomlinson & Margaret Archibald. Robert was the son of Alexander Tomlinson (a soldier originally from Everton near Liverpool in England) & Ellen Jamieson.

thank you so Much  aghadowey, on my Nan  (Sarah) birth cert it showed Mother as Minnie and Not Mary Wilson, I changed this in Ancestry and found her and she died in Owestry shropshire where my Nan and family lived

on a separate note  her Birth Cert was it did Say Garvagh  but also Caheney , or Cahenly was this also called Caheny ?? sorry to be a pain

Caheney, also Caheny, is a townland near Garvagh. In the case of the birth certificate Caheney would be the place of birth?/father's residence and Gavagh is the registration district.

Sarah's father was Alexander Jamieson Tomlinson- Jamieson was his grandmother Ellen Tomlinson's maiden name-
