Hello
I'm looking for more information about my grandmother's family. Her name was Jennie Allen Phillips (originally Martha Jane Phillips), she was born in Newport, Pembs in Nov 1897 to William Allen Phillips (b.1875 in Letterston) and Martha Ann Thomas. They married in 1895. She had three brothers David James b.1895, Thomas Charles b.1899 and William John b.1901. Her father was the mail coach driver between Newport and Haverfordwest. He died in 1903 at the age of 27. (I have attached a newspaper article from the time).
I am not sure when my grandmother became known as Jennie, other than it must have been between 1901 and 1911, looking at the census and school records. The family moved from Newport to Glynymel Rd, Lower Town, Fishguard after her father's death. Jennie lived in Goodwick/ Fishguard until just after WW1, she married my grandfather John Emlyn Roberts in 1918 and they left the area moving to Wallasey on the Wirral.
I am looking for more information about her parents/ grandparents, her brothers and their descendants. Any information would be gratefully received. Thank you.
