Samuel Hilton (?Born in Jamaica 1790-1839 d.20th April 1839 or Nov 14th 1928) father to Sarah Hilton and her ?biological sister Margaret who married Rev Thomas Gardener d. 19/5/1881.

This lady seems to be documented as a slave to Samuel Barrett - is McFatter the owners name? ? freed how, when, what happened to her, did she move with her daughters to the UK? Parish of St James County of Cornwall Jamaica 1831/32. Where are her family i would love to know. Seems Cinamon Hill house mentioned and also ROse Hall with the Barrett Family. Samuel Hilton appears to be a lawyer?? how long what for.... any shipping records of him travelling to and from UK?

1901 His daughter is born Julia M Fenwick ( ? her mother Caroline L Fenwick b1871) 1901 Census states Caroline 30yrs, living in same boarding house as Julia May 10months old, 43 Hortham Road, Islington, London. I've no marriage cert yet or any information on Caroline Fenwick.
