Looking for Alexander J Earsman, b. 1898 Cobar, New South Wales.

Birth Index, 1788-1922 records his parents as James Earsman and Mary W Earsman but I can find no further records of this person.
His father James was convicted of many crimes, including murder, so it's possible Alexander changed his name or perhaps he died as a child?
I would be grateful for any comments or suggestions that might give us a clue what happened to this child.

An Alexander Joseph Earsman, b. 1915 was related but not the same person.

Thanks for that confirmation that the man who died 1975 was Henry and Margaret's son, Debra.

But it's the son of James and Mary, born 1898, that I'm trying to find. No records so far after his birth, so I'm wondering if he died as an infant?

Is Alexander noted on the birth certificate for the youngest child to the couple?

Is this the youngest?   born 7 February 1904, William, son of James and Mary W EARSMAN, birth registered Condobolin .  Ref 2376.

The deputy registrar was required to ask for the names and ages of the then living children, and the gender only for those who had succumbed.

If you have NSW birth cert (or official transcription) for any child of the couple born AFTER Alexander, this detail should be on that document.
