I am looking for the above Albert 'Victor' Pointing and going around in circles. He is listed on the 1939 register as 'Victor Pointing' living in Doncaster with his wife Margaret and being born 16 January ??. A lot of Ancestry trees have his DOB as 1877 but i can't find any birth registrations for him at this time. He is on the 1911 census as Victor Pointing aged 34, but his age is crossed out as is a lot of the wording on the 1911 record. His parents on the 1911 census are John Henry Pointing aged 77 born in Bath Somerset, and his mother Florence aged 59, place of birth unknown. Albert Victor has a brother on the 1911 census called John Henry Pointing aged 27 born ?
The address in 1911 is 72 West Hill, Tredegar, Monmouthshire, Wales. Albert Victor married Margaret Hanson in 1925 in Hemsworth Yorkshire. Someone with the same familytree on Ancestry has stated that John Henry Pointing (father) was married previously to a Mary Edmond in 1959 but untill i can find his son Albert Victor and locate him on the census records i cant prove that marriage.
