Meeting of the Scottish Genealogy Society
« on: Tuesday 16 November 21 12:46 GMT (UK) »
At long last, the SGS is pleased to announce that our ordinary meetings have resumed! The next meeting on our Syllabus will be: The Edinburgh Men Who Founded the World's First Football Club in 1824, by Andy Mitchell on Monday 22 November 2021 at 7.30pm. As usual, the meeting will be held in the Augustine United Church, 41 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1EL. Attendees will be required to sign in and to wear a face-mask. Seats will be well spaced in pairs or singly. No refreshments will be served. I should also mention for those who usually travel to our meetings in their cars that George IV Bridge has had the bollards and cycle lanes removed and it is possible to park there as previously. Please check our website before travelling in case changes have had to be made in line with any new restrictions ordered by the Government. https://www.scotsgenealogy.com
