The name might be Sealy, which occurs in the area. There is a marriage in Malmesbury 13-Oct-1814 of a Aaron Sealy of Corston to Ann Scott of Corston.
Maybe DNA might provide some clues, or even an answer.

I am DNA tested but that hasnt really given me much at the moment

Richard's children would most probably have family names.  Jane Ann (first name could have been a mother or a sister).
