Please help me find Henry East born in the Bull pub High Wycombe 1803.
« on: Monday 22 November 21 13:51 GMT (UK) »
I have traced my great (several greats) grandfather Henry EAST via the Census 1841 and 1851 for respectively Brighton and Islington to his birthplace in the Bull (circa 1803). Now I have come to a shuddering halt and cannot seem to find any Easts at all there or locally.

Anybody can help, please? Just a small clue would be fabulous!

Best

It doesn't say 'Bull' it says Bucks. (i.e. the county Buckinghamshire).

Is this him in 1851 Brighton
Henry is with sons Henry, Frederick & Thomas,  Henrys place of birth Bucks, High Wycombe.  No mention of the Bull Public house

Is this the family in 1841 - Parish of St George, Tower Hamlets  :-\
Henry   East   35   Coffee house keeper
Elizabeth   East   30
Henry   East   1
James   East   2 months

Childrens births have middle name Pruden/Prudden which matches mothers maiden name showing on GRO.  James dies before the next census
