I let my paid membership expire in the middle of October even though they offered me a 15% discount at the time.  Delighted today to receive an email from them offering a 25% discount to renew before 28th November... of course I accepted and now have a 12 month pro-membership once again for £119.99 instead of £159.99.

Loyalty to subscription services (of all kinds) is rewarded about as well as loyalty to insurance companies and car rescue services.

Cancel the auto- renew now if you're unhappy. This is the first discount I've seen in 24 months. ( I've worked without paid subs for that period) .  I still think the FindMyPast PRO sub is better value than Ancestry, even at full price. By the time you add in newspapers, and military, Ancestry looks very mean with the offering.

Plus, it's the only sub which will give a discount on 1921 prices. I'll use the PRO sub to hone down my 1921 purchases.
