1.  Note that the money given to William Wharton is for his paines.

2.  The Latin begins:

...Et vicescimo sexto die mensis die
mensis Aprillis Anno d(omi)ni Mill(es)imo sexcen(tesi)mo quarto Magister fflathers cl(er)ic(us) &
decanus decanatus de Ainstie...

There's an erroneous mensis die at the end of the first line of this text.  Ignoring it, the translation is:

...And the twenty-sixth day
of the month of April in the year of our lord one thousand six hundred and four Master fflathers clerk &
dean of the deanery of Ainstie...

Administration was to Marmaduke Scatchard one of the executors named.

Thanks horsleydown and Bookbox for your help, it is very much appreciated.

It is interesting in this will that although there are several specific bequests, there does not seem to be one for the residue of the estate. The executor and administrator, Marmaduke Scatcherd, died a year after his son. It is interesting once more that Mauger chose his parents as executors, but could this possibly be because all his other siblings were sisters?
