Welcome to Rootschat

Exactly what info are you looking for?   Info on when the street was built or are you researching your McGrail roots?

If you are researching your family history you would need to give some detailed info of your grandparents names/birthyears & birthplaces but only if they are now deceased.

Rootschat has a strict no living persons policy so please do not post details about anybody who is still alive

When did the McGrail family live in Percival St.?

Old maps of Manchester are online.
John Rylands Library, University of Manchester has a collection.
National Library of Scotland is another source.

Electoral rolls are arranged by ward and then by address within each ward. Some historical electoral rolls are online.
Censuses (1841-1911) on some websites can be searched by address.

The Percival Inn was at 28 Percival St. 19th-20th centuries. (Slater's Directories)
