Will be interesting to know what his birthplace is in 1911?

It would also be interesting to see if he gives the same parental details on his second marriage
Thanks very much for your help..I chased the 1911 census thread and is is them. He gives his place of birth as Kimnay but this is probably Kemnay.
I have also found his marriage to Cecilia Michelson in 1907. His address was the same on as my grandfather with certificate (38 Feus Auchterarder) He is still stating that his parents are Alexander and Betsy Smith m/s Paterson.
Alexander moved around as he was born in Aberdenshire, married in Auchterarder in 1894 had three children in Stirling in the late 1890s then two further children back in Auchterarder before moving to Wigtow and have another child there.
This doesn't help me find Alexander and Betsy........
Thanks again

On the 1911 census did it say what relation James Smith was to Alexander ?
Are you sure the son Alexander Smith survived ?as there is a death for an Alexander
Smith 1902 Auchterarder  although it gives mothers maiden name as Rayne

There is a James Smith showing on the same reference number on the 1911 census my mistake  I thought he might have been in the same household  maybe he is in another household ..I said that might be a possible death for the son Alexander 1902 ..Still not much luck with the parents
