Emma is married.
In the occupation column it has a comment about her husband.
"Husband  H....     .....    Ireland"
When I enlarge it to see better, it just loses focus.

In case you dont have this;

Mmn of girls was Smith.

FreeBMD has a Marriage Reg 1865 John Charles ROGERS/Emma SMITH on same page.

M/C is on Anc 9 Jul 1865,St Andrew, Enfield, Enfield
John a Labourer, Father JAMES a Labourer
Emmas Father WILLIAM a Coachman
George and Sophia Rogers are witnesses

1891 we have;
John C Rogers 47 Head
Emma Rogers 39 Wife

1901 they are together also.

From what I can see Johns mmn was MUNNS

Trish :)

Yoo hoo! That's what I thought too😁 Been looking for a Soph* Ro(d)gers who might have an Ireland connection for over a month now. Initially picked this Sophia up on an 1891 census where she's a servant working for someone who was born in Ireland .

Yes,thank you. I found that marriage on BMD, but not seen the register. So John's mother was called Sophia, or maybe a sister?
As I said, it's a Soph* Rogers born about 1870 with an Irish connection I'm searching for.
A Soph* Rogers gave birth to an illegitimate child in Lambeth workhouse in 1891 and possibly the same woman a second time in 1893.
The first child is definitely  the grandfather of someone I'm helping. She knew nothing about his early life, except that he always said he and a brother ( no name known)  came over from Ireland when they were young.
