I'd be grateful if somebody could fill in the blanks, and correct my transcription.
(I think this one got a little lost in the middle of a fairly lengthy post about different people, so I thought I'd post it separately).

I don't know whether this is of any help but if you Google "translation of french words into english" there is a facility to input the French words & get the English version

l 3 .................jouissant de ses droits
l 4 ................ de défunte
l 5 marie franquet (?)
l 8 .................pierre cauderan (?)
l 9 .................son maistre

It definitely looks as if the priest has written "quiton" rather than "quinton" even if you know that was the mother's name.

I've merged your and jayaygee's version to one, and highlighted some minor corrections. I read the names as Franquet, Quiton and Cauderan.

l’eglise de Ceans par moy Curé entre Nicolas Lambet
compagnon aagé de vingt quatre ans jouissant de ses droits,
fils de defunct Claude Lambet manouvrier et de défunte

et de Marie Quiton sa femme, presens Pierre Cauderan
mulquinier cousin du dit Nicolas Lambet, Jean Villin
laboureur son maistre, ledit Adrien Rebouté pere de la ditte
Marguerite Rebouté et la ditte Marie Quiton sa mere.

Once again many thanks jayaygee and Zefiro.

Any ideas on 'jouissant de ses droits' - 'enjoying his rights'? That's a new phrase to me.

Google translate only works if you know the words Carol. This is more of a transcribing problem to actually find out what the words are! The handwriting in these old registers are just as problematic as old English ones.  :)

enjoyment of rights: The fact of being the holder of a right.

In the case of Nicolas Lambet, I suspect it has a connection with the fact that he is only 24 years old, so strictly of minor age. Men had to be 25 for 'Marital majority'. The fact that he could enjoy his rights perhaps meant that he, although minor, didn't need consent of an adult (remember both his parents were already deceased), or had gotten consent to wed.
