Unidentified Hussar
« on: Friday 26 November 21 17:40 GMT (UK) »
This photo was amongst a number of unidentified family photos, I've been trying to work out who it may be. The uniform seems to be that of the British Hussars. Images on the Internet indicate that the the uniform varied over time but this doesn't fit exactly, although it's rather difficult when the photo is in black and white.

Can anyone please help me pin it down so I can identify any possible candidates?

I've now identified who the man in the photo was, he served as a member of the 14th (King's) Hussars in WW1 and died in 1917, he is buried in Baghdad.

I'll leave my post here in case it helps anyone else.
