Topped up credit on Nokia phone

Hi, can not understand messages received from Nokia after I topped up credit for the first time on Nokia cell phone. No contract pay as you go. It mentions offers of bundles lasting 30days??? Will my topped up credit be effected after 30 days.

The handset may be Nokia, but the calling and messages are supplied by someone else.

A 30 day bundle is valid for 30 days, after that the bundle expires, and you buy another bundle, or PAYG

I tried to post a message earlier but see it hasn’t come through.
I top up my pay as you go as necessary. It is a Nokia but with O2 which is the provider.
I get messages re ‘bundles’ which I ignore but I also get messages for extra minutes from time to time. This is if I top up by a certain date or pay a small amount. These minutes only last for a short time but my main payment lasts until it is run down.
You can check your balance for free anytime.

These 'bundles' confused the heck out of my Dad a little while back when he had to get a new phone handset (he forgot to remove the phone from his shirt pocket before he put the shirt in the washing machine - he was very upset at the time, but eventually was able to laugh about it).

I had to help sort out the new SIM card and the helpful chap on the phone said just to carry on as before and not worry about the idea of getting a bundle if you are only using the phone as PAYG.

The "bundles" are their way of selling you extra stuff.

Say you top up with, say, £25.

They offer you a "bundle" giving you a similar number of minutes but including 2000 text messages for "only" £30.

That may be a great deal if you send text messages all day, but few of us do.

They may include data, but that isn't a lot of use unless your handset gives you a way of using it - normally you'd need a smartphone. They expect everyone to have one of these, but lots of older people just use a phone for making and receiving phone calls.

I topped up online just to get credit for my emergency Nokia phone Its an old model. I checked balance after a couple of weeks all my credit was GONE Don`t know what I did. Where do you get PAYG top ups. Hoping someone can help.

You can get Top Ups from most supermarkets. Just ask at the checkout for a Top Up for whichever provider you use.
