Eilleen - could you cite the source for your information?  There may be something on it which would account for the odd dates.

Philip
Please help me to help you by citing sources for information.

Victoria departures, but I am not having much luck

https://prov.vic.gov.au/explore-collection/explore-topic/passenger-records-and-immigration/outwards-passenger-lists

Added.
There is a Mrs Bent 40, Mary Bent 17 and Maria Bent, 8. On the Somersetshire. 28 Oct 1873
Ages are out and Bent not Bint but might be worth considering?

It’s the Queen of Nations.
Indexed on Ancestry under Bent.

The 140 days refers to the legal requirement to take provisions to allow for a voyage of 140 days. Just inncase  :)

I think the Bent family are not mine , aged 40, 17, and 8 in 1873 .

I think I saw that family before ?  they were throwing Me all over the place x

the outward ship was transcribed in correctly, you can see it says BINT for those three ladies ( mine ) x
