I think someone is dead, but im. not absolutely sure....is it possible. for me to ask someone on this site if there is a death registered in his name, please

If it's a death in the past few years, there may well have been a funeral notice in the local paper. They tend to have searchable archives of family notices on their websites going back some time.

Register here https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/Login.asp and you can check deaths up to 2019 for free.

There are some deaths on Find My Past for 2020.  My husband is on there and he died in 2020, so may be worth checking on there.

If I just enter 2020 with no name and no place I get 204,703 results so quite a few for that year.
