Halifax - West Yorkshire look up please 1940

Good morning,

Would anybody be kind enough to do a look up please for 1940 for exact birth month if anyone was at the main library at Halifax. I've found the following. She's also on some family trees as 09/03/1940 but I suspect this is incorrect as the BMD is showing:-

There is no reason why a birth at the beginning of March should not show in the April, May, June quarter on the GRO.  Parents were not required to register it immediately, I think they had 6 weeks.

There is no way that anyone can look at details from that birth registration without purchasing the certificate

Did she die with surname Downes as I can't see a record on GRO index for that death

OK, Have found her death in Calderdale registration district under her married name

yes, my birthday is March 9 - birth not registered until early April 19** so it appears in June quarter of that year.
