Help with RC marriage - Isaac Eades and Bridget Gerahty
« on: Saturday 11 December 21 22:05 GMT (UK) »
Hi - Im struggling to find a RC marriage inbetween Isaac Eades and Bridget Gerahty in Dublin. They had their first child, Catherine Eades - c.1852 (i cant find a record for this either) and other children i know of in 1857, 1864 & 1867.

There is a record for a marriage of an Isaac Eades and a Mary Usher in 1842. Considering that the name isaac eades would be quite rare, i think he mightve been married before. There is a burial of a Mary Eades in 1850 which would be time enough for Isaac to be widowed and remarried.

Any advice on where to go from here or maybe an links of interest? thanks!

There is a record for a marriage of an Isaac Eades and a Mary Usher in 1842.

A baptism Mary Anne 1849 St. Michan, Dublin.
Where did the 1842 marriage take place?

The marriage you were looking for.
Bridget's surname also transcribed incorrectly.
Dolan witness and Dolan sponsor for Mary Anne's baptism.

Isaac's surname looked like Earles in the marriage register and Bridget's looked like Gerity although that's not the transcription of her surname.
