Over the Christmas break can someone Please help straighten out some of these discrepancies. for example John Knowles 1757 or 1766 there are other dates if you look on Ancestry...Broomhead and Boomhead Bromfield...others are [abt] about this.. nothing exact...I have found some results on the Chesterfield Wesleyan non conformist Methodist Derby copies of originals hard going.....Love to find another generation back if someone would like to give me a Christmas present

Hi there Ricky,

Can you please confirm the details that you have for that John KNOWLES marriage in 1782.   I ask because family search has the bride's surname as:

a) BROMEHEAD twice :

I am attaching a snip from 1 part of a double page of eight marriages in the parish register.   I cannot find any person on those two pages with the surname as BOOMHEAD.  Hopefully this will help you over your Christmas break.
