How to add interest names to profile?

Have read all the help guide but still can't see how I can edit my profile and add names I'm interested in, so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it otherwise I'll have to give up and unregister.

Hi Sarah, thanks for your reply. I actually joined because an Internet search of my family in Rochdale showed a request from a Roots member for information about my family at their exact address so I joined so I could reply. However, when logged in their post is no longer found, maybe because it was from 2006, so I thought I'd post a message regarding my family. Where would I put such a message? It asks for a topic. It doesn't seem a very user friendly site, really confusing.

Hello Elizabeth,

We do not delete posts so it should still be there, if I knew the details I could help look for it for you.

The website is pretty easy to use, you see a topic and you wish to reply you just hit the "reply button" if you wish to start of a new line of inquiry you click on the "New Topic button".

Thank you for your help, it's much appreciated.

It would be great if you could find the post - it was from smithy in 2006 and he asked if anyone knew about the Pickles family who lived at 81 Well'ith Lane (that is the correct spelling with an apostrophe) in Rochdale, Lancashire. That was my grandfather's childhood home until he married, his name was James Albert Pickles, born in 1905 and died 1993. He was one of 9 children. I was 25 when he died and knew him well. The person who was asking information said he lived in Australia. It would be great to be able to give him information about his family. Thank you for offering to help.
