Henry Foster FULLER 1864-1940. Wife and whereabouts 1901

If anyone could help with this man, I would appreciate it. It's just him, his wife, and children if any, not his siblings or parents that I am interested in at this point.

** She was actually divorced from her husband the previous year.

Henry Foster Fuller age 16, a cadet,  b Knighton, Isle of Wight, Hampshire.


I cannot find him in 1891

1895 a Bedford marriage to either Margaret Hastings McDermott or Ellen Perry
but I have not been able to identify which.. The other groom is George Richardson

Cannot see him in 1901 or 1911

1921 at Peterborough
Henry Foster Fuller, 57, of Needingworth, was charged at a Children's court with indecently assaulting a boy ...... Defendant was a man of unblemished character. He served in the Army during the War. He was by profession an actor; certainly in reduced circumstances. .........Gaol for two months with hard labour

1939 St Ives, Huntingdonshire
Henry F. Fuller, widowed  6 June 1874,  But I think it has to be him
Widower.  Actor (Retired).

14 Feb 1940 dies.

Henry Foster Fuller of Earith Huntingdonshire, died 14 February 1940 at Walnut Tree House, St Peters Road, Huntingdon.   Probate to Lionel Abrahams, solicitor

FreeBMD gives his age at death as 75 = birth of 1865 which looks good.


Trees have his wife and children in 1911 as at 84 Herga Road, Wealdstone
But I do not think that is correct as Margaret Fuller a widow b Paddington  has in-laws. Jesse and Mary.
As stated  Henry's parents are not Jesse & Mary
Also an unmarried sister with surname Stamthwaite/Adamthwaite (or similar) )

I can see births Fuller/Adamthwaite which fit  the children at that census.

So - can anyone figure out which is his wife?
And where are they in 1901 (and 1911 but I realise limitations there) ?
I see no obvious Army record. Not even a medal card.

Henry Foster Fuller married Margaret Hastings McDermott at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Bedford  on 5th Feb 1895. Parents are given as Henry Musgrove Fuller and Henry McDermott.
