Agree with Carol.. sort of.
The first looks like a copy of an 1850's/early 1860's ambrotype.
You can see her right hand is over her left which was a typical pose
for a married woman if it was the other way round which leads me
to believe it's an ambrotype as they came out in reverse.
The 2nd. is v. late 1860's/1870's. as she has a bustle.
