Pevensey boy

I've been browsing the 1921 census and found a reference to the son of the house being a Pevensey boy but came back Monday!

His entry is crossed through in red.

Has anyone any knowledge of what this means?

Are you sure it isn't Pevensey Bay? And that's where he came back from?

I was sure it was boy and not bay at the time but will check tomorrow.

Think he was about 9 years at the time of the 1921 census and the rest of the family were at home in Islington.

No known connection with Pevensey Bay.

There is a painting on the web of boys fighting and that came up when I did a search.
