John Richard McDonald b Q2 1883 Flaxton, Yorkshire, England

The above married Jane Anne Neatley 19 Apr 1911 Handsworth, Yorkshire, she was born about 1885. His parents were Frederick McDonald and Betsy nee Flint. Her father was James Neatley.
John appeared in Military records applying to join AIF 31 Oct 1916 at Perth, WA but was discharged unfit 9/5/1917. He recorded his wife as Jennie and that she lived at Crawley, WA.
I can find no records for them after 1917?

On his military forms John’s occupation is a clerk/salesman
In the 1915-17 electoral rolls this couple seem to be living apart. He is living in Parkway, Nedlands, working as a brewery employee, and she in in Crawley. I did not see any births of children in WA.

Have you checked to see if either one, of both returned to England?
