Scotton, Yorks - Gladys May Roberts

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me. My father Douglas was born illegitimately in Scotton, Yorks in 1929 to Gladys May Roberts (known as May on 19).  I'd like to find some information about what might have happened to Gladys/May. I can't seem to find her at all on any records. 

Info I have - She had 2 other sons with no father on their birth certificate. Eric 1926. On his birth certificate she is a domestic servant residing in Scotton. On Douglas certificate in 1929 she is a domestic servant residing at Quaker Cottage, Scotton. On Gerald 1932 she is a domestic servant residing at 11 Stockwell Road. I think that was the poor law infirmary in Knaresborough. My dad told me he thought his mum worked at a big house nearby when he lived in Scotton.

So questions I have - where did she go after 1932? where was she working between 1926 and 1932? Thanks for any help you can give me

Will be difficult to find where she was working but have you checked to see if she got married?

Did she have contact with the boys as children or were they brought up by another family?

There's a Gladys May Roberts born Knaresborough in 1905.  Father Harry mother Annie I think.

Sorry I should have added more facts. Gladys May was born 29/7/1905 in Scotton to Harry Roberts and Annie Fletcher Barker. I have her birth certificate and I have found her on the 1911 and 1921 census living in Scotton with her parents and siblings. I have no idea if she ever got married. My dad Douglas isn't too sure who raised him but did live in Scotton. He passed away in 2011 so I can't ask him anything.

Have you tried searching for her with that DoB in the 1939 Register? She could've married by then, so search using just her first names.

Yes I have searched the 1939 register. There are just so many Gladys, May and Roberts. I've started with Yorkshire people but I just can't find her.

Perhaps she passed away before Sept 1939 or emigrated? Unless she's in the 1939 Register, but with a birth year other than 1905.

I've looked at most of the marriages in Yorkshire for all combinations of Gladys May Roberts, May and Gladys and I just can't tell which one she is. I think if she left Yorkshire I just may never find her. Thanks for suggestions anyway.

There is a death registration for a Gladys M Roberts aged 31 Mar qtr 1936 Ruthin RD.  Unfortunately no indication if she was married or single.

If she continued in domestic service, might she have moved away?
