Thanks.

Yes i can see them in "My Records" but i want to save them to my computer, that is where i have the problem.

Yes I used that symbol but i could not save to my computer

Open the image on your screen, then right click on the image and use "save as" in the options list that opens.
Cheers
Guy

You can also play with the contrast / brightness  (Available using the 'More' tab). before saving it as suggested by Guy, which may solve your problems with dark prints

Thank you everyone for your help. I have made some progress and got some copies etc although I must say I found it a lot harder than when using FindMyPast in the past. What have they been up to?

On a slightly different tact I found a stray and not altogether sure where he fits in so I will follow that up in due course but not immediately.
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

I don't know where to put this complaint, it is in Diary weekending 24th April

I have taken the offer on FindMyPast today, I have copied off both the transcript and the original 1921 filled in by a householder, I cannot read any of them, the transcript is ok,   both copies have cost me £3 each, I am not happy
