Charles Lewis

Hi there.
I'm looking for help finding the marriage of Charles Lewis and Annie E.
Charles born 1848 in Hanley, Staffordshire to Charles Lewis and Caroline Lees.
Think the marriage was c1886 to Annie E (sorry no maiden name)
Annie born c 1853 in York, Yorkshire.
Id be grateful for any help.  Many thanks.

So - can I ask
Charles would be around 38 and Annie 33  was it their first marriage - or had either of them been married before ??
Do you have where they are living in 1881 census returns ??

there are FIVE possibles from 1884 - 1891 - if we had a County / area THEY WERE LIVING IN 1881 IT WOULD HELP ???

If Comberton is correct - Annie was actually Agnes
Mar qtr 1889

Charles White Lewis to Agnes Anorah Brough - Birmingham

not convinced that Agnes Anorah would become Annie E ?????   

BUT THAT IS THE ONLY Charles Lewis to a Brough 1880-1900

Comberton - does that 1901 record tally in with Charles Birthplace and year of birth ??

is so Ann L has been given the wrong info  ???

1889 images are online, Agnes Anorah Brough and Charles White Lewis did not marry each other,  AAB to Harry Thompson and CWL to Alice Jane Falconbridge.
1901 Charles 1850 Hanley and Annie 1853 York so close to details given.
Children 1888-1899 born Leeds except Arthur (no middle name) born Wolstanton.
1911 Annie Elizabeth is a widow so no marriage details.
Baptisms for the Leeds children have father as a potter or hawker.

1881 Census Charles Lewis: Elder Terrace, Grove St, Burslem, Staffordshire, England
Status: Boarder with Mr John Bootherstones family. Working as a potter.

 Census 1901 • Charles Lewis: 1 Hardwick Yard, Leeds, Yorkshire, England
Relation to Head of House: Head.  Status: Married.  Worked as Hawker Marine own account.

1911 Annie Elizabeth widow
