Seymour T P Hales

All my DNA research suggests that Seymour T P Hales was my biological father. He was born in Lambeth on 26 May 1923 and died in Blackpool in October 1981.
He married a few times and appeared to have numerous affairs, me being the result of one of them.
At some point in the 1950's he served in the Army in Singapore.
My research has been with Ancestry and my tree is public.
I am really finding this man rather elusive and would appreciate thoughts on how I can find further information about him. Anything would be useful.

See at least 3 wives listed there, as well as his death. Maybe some siblings to.

Death reg shows him as Seymour Thacker P Hales b 26.5.1923

1939 entry same birthdate indexed as Seymour V T Hales

A tree on Ancestry has him as Seymour (Michael) Thacker Peace Hales & his parents as Joseph Ernest Thacker & Ada Mary Geere

The Notts marriage appears to have had 3 children b 1945-1953 & possibly 2 to the 1962 marriage

So, if I'm reading all this correctly, Seymour wasn't born a Hales i.e. not the son of Joseph Hales and wife Elizabeth who he is with in 1939 - one can only assume that for whatever reason he was adopted by them.

I'm assuming that since his birth parents are shown as Joseph Ernest Thacker (married to someone else) and Ada Mary Peace, nee Geere, widow) that his birth certificate has been purchased at some point.

That being so, then his bloodlines are Thacker and Geere (no Hales blood at all).

I cannot find an obvious Thacker/Geere or Peace connection to the Hales - or a Lincolnshire/Derbyshire connection

Joseph Hales was b 1891 in Minting Lincolnshire as were his parents but family seem to have moved to Derbyshire between 1893-1895.  His mother Jane was nee Hewson

Seymour's mother was Ada Mary Geere, who had been married to Willie Peace, who died in 1920. Ada had affair with Thacker and Seymour was the result. Ada sent Seymour away to live with Hales family in Derbyshire.
