Help with worn marriage certificate
« on: Saturday 15 January 22 19:26 GMT (UK) »
I would like to know what the residence at the time of marriage says for the marriage of my 3rd great grand aunt. Link to marriage record: https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1854/09477/5434555.pdf (Last one at the bottom of the page)

It is quite worn but what I can make out this says: 8 August 1854, William Kerr and Margaret Brain Full Age, Widowder, Widow, Farmer " Bally?,  Drumawhey, Parish of N Ards Father Thomas Kerr Farmer, William Brown Farmer. Does it also say in the presence of William Brown and Hugh Brown?

His townland looks like Ballybolly (sic). This might be it.

Her townland Drumawhy

Yes that looks like it could be right. Ballybolly or Ballyboley, after where it says Parish the minister could have shortened Greyabby as it looks like the word starts with a G.

Update: I found a grave inscription and the Ballyboley is correct: "Erected by John Kerr, Ballyboley, in loving memory of his mother Margaret Kerr nee BROWN who died 30th December 1864 aged 42 years Also his father William Kerr who died 13th April 1895 aged 84 years Also the above John Kerr who died 1st Feby 1929 aged 73 years And his wife Eleanor who died 1st February 1929 aged 65 years."
