Hello I searching for James McMillan I think about  1798???.Larnak Scotland.I know his son was born Ireland comber Co Down .He  is also James McMillan born about 1821 to 1824  I think 1824 .I can't find James 1824 birth  James married Jane McClure 1851 Newtownards comber .There is a post of James and Jane living in Scotland at one stage hoping to find James 1824 birth to find his mum .Thank you for any help you can find 🌹

Civil registration of births began 1864 in Ireland.
You need to search for a baptism record for him.

Do Comber baptism registers exist for 1820s ? Are they complete?

I’m not sure ,I just emailed the church that James and Jane got married.
