Greetings ...This is as much information we have trying to find where Jane Williams married and her  Maiden name maybe even her Parents Please...tips and suggestion very welcome Cheers Rick

       Robert Williams
       Born: 1801  Conway Caernarvonshire
   Died: 22 May1874
   Married : Jane Williams  unknown
   Born  1811 South Wales
   Died: 1903 Llanelly

Children : Betsy (1839 – 1852), Robert (1844)

Robert (1801) appears in the 1851 Census with his wife Jane (1811) as Lodgers with Martin Kelly (1801) and his wife Mary (1831) and their family living in Mold. Martin and Mary are shown as being from Ireland and were Hawkers of Smallware. Robert is recorded as a “tinman” either making metal ware or repairing metalware or a tinker who travelled repairing metal pots, pans and the like.
In 1851they were living in Mold  Flintshire.

Have you looked for the births of the children on the GRO site as that gives mother's maiden names?

Were either Robert or Betsy’s births registered?

If so - use GRO online to get Jane’s maiden name

www.freebmd.org.uk
https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/Login.asp

No mention of the children birthplaces in your post - Betsy was b Mold Flintshire & Robert in Holywell

Does every census just show Jane as b “South Wales”. Do none show an actual place in South Wales

Hi again...
Ive tried to add an attachment that came to me this morning as an email it shows a marriage of a Robert Williams and a Jane Williams.
Robert father was Thomas Williams and Janes father Henry Williams.....Census show Robert is 10 years older that Jane
marriage Certificate shows a widower....might explain the age gap....census say he was a tin man
marriage cert says quarryman.....could this possibly mean a tin miner???.....I cant read the place names   could it be near enough to the South Wales already mentioned???
Tips and suggestions very welcome

Marriage place, North Wales, Caernavon.

https://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/CAE/Llanddeiniolen

Place of marriage, Rhiwlas can be seen on map, unsure of Roberts place of marriage, M**las

https://www.genuki.org.uk/maps/lmap?LL=53.169358,-4.129324&COUNTRY=5&PLACE=Rhiwlas

Do you have Jane on any other census to try obtain POB?

Found a possible 1861 but her age is out, not unusual for census.

1861 - Llandysilio, Caernarvonshire
RG9 Piece:   4348, Folio:   72, Page Number: 9

Richard Glynne   78
Elizabeth Glynne   48
Michael Foy   42
Robert Williams   60, visitor, tinman, Caernavonshire
Jane Williams   55, visitor, dressmaker, Glamorganshire, Llwyni?

https://www.genuki.org.uk/search?q=search&keys=Llwyni&f%5B0%5D=county%3A130&f%5B1%5D=place%3AGlamorgan

Could be a few places if census correct.
