Hi everyone,

Please see attached my great grand uncle, Henry George Roberts.

Hoping to get some help with basic restoration and lightening it the photo to see if there is some family resemblance!

Any assistance is greatly appreciated :)

Hi Courtney, I did have a go at this one for you but the results were disappointing and not worth posting. The image is pixelated and the dark areas don't reveal any detail when lightened. Sorry  :-\

I also had a go and the shadows were just flat and revealed no detail at all.  I enclose one of my attempts.

Maybe someone who has some of the AI apps can get something more out of it but the details are just not there  for any app  to work with  :-\

I've cheated a little by using the side of the face that was visible as a basis for the other. It might be totally wrong but it''s  an attempt  although a bit rubbishy!

Add - I think his face is probably longer and narrower than this construct.
