Very, very few census records from 1811 survive. The census was simply a head count, and the forms were destroyed after the totals had been added up. A handful are in local record offices.

Jane would be unlikely to appear as she was born after 1811

When was Ruth born/baptised, what was the status of John & were there any other children?

Do you know where/when John died?

I found these on the link I posted earlier although he may not be your chap...

"Adjutant. John Wilton. Died in India, 1820"

"Mrs. Wilton, Wife of Adj. Wilton, 53rd Regt."
