Jabez married a Fanny Thompson in Wellington 1872, his father is named as John but cant seem to find his birthplace or on the 1861 census? Any ideas? Thanks

Jabez's place of birth was Dawley per the censuses.

In 1861 the family is in Old Park, Dawley. RG9/1856 folio 31 page 5

In 1861 he has been transcribed originally as Louks.

I think his actual birth is transcribed as Tunks - Madeley Reg Dist Q/E Mar 1852.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

 Parents marriage was March 30 1840 in Wellington - John Tonks and Lucy Willits. Residence Old Park. Jabez has place of birth as Old Park in 1871 census and as Dawley in other censuses.
