Thomas is driving me crazy!
My ancestors, Thomas WICKS and Elizabeth CHANDLER were wed at Wadhurst on 25 Oct
1761... or were they.
Their issue, all baptised at Wadhurst:
Elizabeth - bp 1769
James - bp 1771
m Mary REEVES 1793 at Wadhurst
Samuel - bp 1774
m Jane GROVES 1800 at Ticehurst
John - bp 1776
m Philadelphia AKEHURST 1797 at Wadhurst
William - bp 1777
m Hannah c.1798
Alexander - bp 1780
m Elizabeth BONES 1801 at Mayfield.
James and Mary baptised a son Thomas, 15 May 1803
Samuel and Jane baptised a son Thomas, 14 Aug 1803
William and Hannah baptised a son Thomas, 30 Jan 1802
and it's probable although I cant find a baptism that,
Elizabeth, wife of Andrew gave birth to a son Thomas c.1803.
Odd that John and Philadelphia do not seem to have a son named Thomas.
I'm attempting to sort out all the Thomas', it's a past project I'm taking out of the 'too hard basket'.

MY Thomas WEEKS, born Wadhurst, who married Hannah AKEHURST at Heathfield in 1822. I do not know who his parents are but am leaning toward James and Mary.
I have accounted for:
Thomas, s/of William and Hannah by is MC
Thomas, s/of Samuel and Jane by 1841/1851 census
Thomas, s/of Andrew and Elizabeth. A Thomas Weeks is living by a Reuben Weeks, and nearby Andrew Weeks on 1841 census. Reuben is Andrew's son.
I could go on...
