Muldoon Family

Good Morning,
I am researching relatives of Robert Muldoon and Alice Gold (married 1896) and their children (Bridget, b. 1896 Wishaw, m John Hughes 1926 in Mossend), Robert (b.1900), Mary (b. apt 1903, emigrated to America), Catherine (b. 1905), Alice (b. 1907), Patrick (b. 1910), Isabella (b. 1912), John (b. 1915), Agnes (b. 1918), and Joseph (b. 1921). It looks like the family resided in the Bellshill area, with many moving to Corby, Northants around 1937, where John Hughes worked for Stewarts and Lloyd's. I do not seem to be able to find many records at all, and am wondering if maybe this is not all one family?

If you are doubtful about whether they are all Robert & Alices children - have you looked at the 1901 & 1911 census entries to determine which children they had at those times

In 1901 they only had Bridget aged 4 & Robert aged 1

Bridget Hughes b 8.7.1896 died 1979 Kettering Northants

John Joseph Muldoon b 20.4.1915 died 1996 Corby

Patrick Francis Muldoon b 21.2.1910 died 2003 Coventry Warwickshire.  Marriage to Grace V Eaton in Kettering 1944

Isabella Muldoon married Francis O’Neill 1940 Kettering.  She was born 1.9.1912 & died in Norfolk in 1993.

The birth details are available on Scotlands People, although you would need to purchase units and use 6 units each time you view an actual birth certificate. (Forgive me if you know this,)

I can confirm that by 1911 Alice had given birth to 8 children, but 2 had died by then.
The ones you have listed who were born up to 1911 are their children (plus 2 more who had died before 1911).

You would need to check the statutory births on Scotlands People for the others born after 1911, I'm afraid, to check they belong to Robert and Alice.

Have you looked at the marriage of Alice and Robert in 1896? If so, what were the names of Robert's parents and father's occupation? The 1901 census gave his birth place as Magherafelt, Co Derry? Alice's look to have been Andrew and Alice (Quinn) from what showed on the family tree for her line.

Added: Is this Robert Muldoon's death?

Not seeing his birth so far on https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/ with the details on here for him. His parents' names should hopefully help. Some family researchers have his parents as Robert Muldoon and Bridget McLaren but source is not shown.
