Asking for assistance,I would like to know who resided at the Piggot St address mentioned below.
George was the first born son of my maternal grandma and died of influenza during pandemic,Im guessing he died in the home of a family member.
How may I get a free census lookup?
His death certificate lists:George Roberts"Bob" . Stanley(19141925)

25 Piggot st, St Martins, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.

Hi there!

The electoral registers for 25 Piggott Street, Birmingham for 1924 and 1925 show a Herbert and Edith Matilda Death living there.  They were still there in 1939.
There is the possibility someone else lived with them that wasn't on the registers, I suppose.

Freebmd gives a maiden name of Miller for Edith Matilda.

Familysearch.org can offer free census lookups.
As does FreeCen.org.uk.

Registration required on FamilySearch.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

If you mean the 1921 census, you can't get it for free. Eventually, FindMyPast will include it as part of their subscription but, at the moment, you'd have to pay or visit one of the locations listed by the Nat Archives.

The Electoral Registers, given by bbart are the closest freely available.

Could you give the names of your grandparents as that might help.

Thats got to be my darling gran, previous notes were obviously off point the address of 49 piggot might be the charm.I guess the death of wee Bobby knocked her off her pegs, Harry is my uncle and I was unsure of his birth place and of Grans arrival in NZ. Looks like youve nailed it for me, a million thanks.

You're welcome. I don't have access to Findmypast Electoral Registers but possibly bbart may be able to see who was at number 49!  :)
