WW1 Passenger Lists

My Grandad Peter Bradford went to Port Stanly in the Falklands to work on the Marconi Wireless Station around September 1914 at the earliest due to my Dad and Aunty (twins) born 15th June 1915.
I can find the ship he came back on to Liverpool the Victoria but I am trying to find the Ship and date he left the UK.
I have tried Ancestry and Find my Past to no avail, I can also find his travel on ships to Santander, Spain in the 1930s But nothing to the Falklands.
Although he was not in the Forces the Marconi Station was for the Navy, could it be possible he could have traveled out on a Navy Vessel.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I know he was there in the July of 1915 as his name appears un the Falklands Parish Magazine.

Wonder if he travelled on a Royal Navy ship rather than a commercial passenger line.  I have a similar issue as I cannot find my grandfather travelling from Rio to UK in 1945 and yet I have proof he was in the UK that year.
