Can anyone decipher the word above Clones please?

I think you are right, although I can't find it on a map, it's mentioned on church publications in Clones. Thank you.

I did find this death notice that mentioned it  :-\  https://rip.ie/death-notice/elizabeth-mcmahon-clones-monaghan/360790  but I can't see it either on a map

I think the Newtownbutler one (link to obituary posted above) is a different place as it seems too far from Carrigallen & Clooncorick Castle in Co. Leitrim.

Could it be Cloncorick in Co. Fermanagh (which fell within the Clones Registration area till 1922)? The surname appears to be McCabe. If so there’s 4 households of them in Cloncorick in 1901:

Henry McCabe is a parent in the family I'm researching as a possible DNA connection to me.
I think this is a grandchild of Henry,
