Looks like Amelia was buried on 26 March 1957 in St John the Baptist, Atherton, Address is 13 Freshfield Ave according to burial record on ancestry. 

On the 1939 register her birth date is given as 22 March 1881 but she is at the same address as in 1957.

Ive seen all sorts of mistakes made
its an emotional time
on a scottish death a grandson put the first name + middle name of the wrong grandma I suppose they just called them granny Mac + granny Kyle

The Eden/Skidmore marriage is on freebmd

Think you will find only one child born to marriage.  Use freebmd to establish name & birthyear & again to find any marriage for the child

There are 2 redacted lines on1939 register but if course they could have had someone else's child or a visitor with them that day

The more I find out about this family the more it may  help the non computer 2c and the person searching his father's identify

They are zooming in on father's father + I'm concluding the Father's mother must be  Mary Ellen  EDEN .
The one I've found the least about so far !

If theory is correct she may have married or had child with a Mr WRIGHT around 1940

I'm getting some geographical bearings and making a list of details I know so far noting addresses etc

So if I'm correct Atherton is between Liverpool and Manchester

St Helens covers the area of Leigh and
The Prescot mentioned is a smallish town .

Started to go thru death years I have

Much easier than probate searches on ancestry

Think it might be worth going through every year after 1940 tho if they were soldiers it doesn't work .

I.ve looked at 1937 and years both sides
&  1989 so far
If I strike lucky I LL get lots of information at once . Could do the same for findmygrave or the st Helens grave site Caz kindly suggested

Somehow donkey work on familiar or single click sites seem less challenging
