Leeds Directory 1798
« on: Wednesday 06 April 22 08:47 BST (UK) »
Some of the names listed in the Leeds Directory of 1798 have a c or a v after them.

Cant find anything to say what these letters mean.

Anyone able to help please.

Thanks

Thanks very much. I only looked in the preface pages. Hadn't thought to look in the actual directory pages themselves for what it meant.

Guess it must have been some sort of military thing.
